解説
I
(To answer, reply, etc.) ｜in the affirmative
                       　｜affirmatively.
肯定に（答ふ）。
＝ (To answer, reply, etc.) ｜that it is (was, etc.) so.
                            ｜"yes."
然り　　｜
「然り」｜（と答ふ）。
II
(To answer, reply, etc.) ｜in the negative.
                       　｜negatively.
否定に（答ふ）。
