基本表現と解説

• He is well versed in Greek and Latin, to say nothing of modern languages. 「近代語は言うまでもなく、ギリシャ語、ラテン語にも精通している」
• He is not well versed in modern languages, to say nothing of Greek and Latin. 「ギリシャ語、ラテン語はおろか、近代語にも通じていない」

to say nothing of / not to speak of / not to mention は「……は言うにおよばず」、「……は言うまでもなく」の意味。
