He bowed me in (out, upstairs, downstairs, etc) with great civility.
彼は非常に鄭重に頭を下げて私を内へ通し(送り出し、二階へ通し、階下へ見送つ)た。
解説
To bow (any one) in, out, up, down, etc.
=To accompany or usher in, out, up, down, etc.
頭を下げて内へ通し、送り出し、二階へ案内し、階下へ送る。
また己れ自ら禮をして内に入り又外に出る等の時には Reflexive Ronoun と共に用ひらる。例
He bowed himself out of the room.
彼は頭を下げて室を出た。
