解説
Not to care (mind) if (though) ...
は
「……しても構はぬ」
と云ふ原意より轉じて
To have no inclination or objection
……に異存なし。
となり、更に進んでは
To be disposed to...
To be willing to...
……するを辭せず。
喜んで……す。
の意となる。
而てこの構文は
I don't care if I......
の形を取るを常とす。例へば
I don't care if I go.
＝私は行ても構はぬ。
＝I am disposed to go.
＝I am willing to go.
行てもよい。
行くを辭せぬ。
喜んで行く。
の如し。
用例
