基本表現と解説

• Take heed fearing lest it prove harmful to you.
• Take heed fearing lest it may prove harmful to you.
• Take heed fearing lest it should prove harmful to you.

fear, fearful, dread, dreadful, worry, afraid など、恐怖を意味する語の後にある lest は that と解する。
